Pranayama Yoga

Pranayama is considered as control of the life force or Breath Control. Pranayama is the common form of Yoga. It is the discipline of gaining control, balancing and cleansing more than Prana in the human organism. Patanjali says that Pranayama is the ability of controlling the breath to gain control more the Prana and provide peace to mind.

One should keep in mind the some points before beginning the Pranayama Yoga. One can be performed before or after having bath or shower. Do not eat anything while performing Pranayama Yoga. It means one should have an empty stomach before doing this practice. For practicing pranayama, one should wear loose yoga outfits.

One should keep neck, head and spine straight and centered. Padmasana or Vajrasana are the best yoga postures for Pranayama yoga. One should keep tension free mind while practicing pranayama. One should perform pranayama daily and does not end the yoga except one is ill. At last, excess of everything is bad. Therefore, one does not increase this yoga practice for at random.

There is a specific method to perform Pranayama. Anuloma and Viloma is the first step. Anuloma stands for breathe in and Viloma stands for breathe out. In Sukha Pranayama First of all, sit properly in any form of yoga posture such as in vajrasana or padmasana. And then relax the complete human body. Close the eyes for a few minutes and keep smile on the face.

Take breathe in gradually and experienced complete body is strengthen. One should enjoy the breathing. After this, slowly breathes out naturally and fell the entire body is calm down. Pranayama can be performed many times in a day which is reduced the tension and stress.

Chadranuloma is both exhalation and Inhalation throughout the left nostril is known as Chandranuloma. As left nostril is known as Chadra Nadi, therefore taking breath through this nostril is known as Chandranuloma. Right Nostril keeps close every time by using the thumb of right hand in the Nasik Mudra. Suryanulom is another technique. Right nostril is known as Surya Nadi and taking breath through right nostril is known as Suryanuloma.

Both exhalation and Inhalation carry out by the right nostril. In Suryanuloma, the left nostril is closed every time. Suryanulam is beneficial to clear up the nasal blocking. It believes that this pranayama is useful to reduce the obesity; however chandranuloma is helpful to gain body weight.
